The Role

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for a Head of Pan-Africa Program Advocacy & Campaigns to manage a team of thematic advisors/ managers leading in the delivery of key thematic elements of the Pan African Program advocacy and campaigns work at continental level complementing influencing, advocacy and campaigns at regional and country level. S/He will support the Pan Africa Program Director to oversee the daily delivery of the Pan Africa Advocacy and campaign Strategy in a manner that contributes to the realisation of Oxfam’s strategic objectives in the continent.

What we're looking for

Our next Head of PAP Advocacy & Campaigns will require a range of skills and experience: advanced knowledge and experience in international development organizations in Africa or the Global South, with demonstrable commitment to social justice. S/he will have ssignificant experience in designing and implementing advocacy strategies, that integrate lobbying, research, media and other campaigning tools; proven record of delivering complex advocacy programmes with non-governmental organisations, delivering strong partnership models.
